The Swasthya Sathi Scheme has been released by the CM of West Bengal State for 2023. In order to help the Citizens of the state, the State government have released many new schemes.

Objective

The Purpose of Launching Swasthya Sathi Cashless Health Scheme is to provide cashless treatments to the citizens of WB State. In 2016, this scheme was formerly released by the CM of West Bengal. It covered all of the secondary and tertiary care up to five lakh rupees, per year of WB State’s each family. But currently, this scheme has been enlarged and now it covers all the residents of this State.

Benefits

It is said that minimum 7.5 crore people will enroll under this cashless Health Scheme of the WB State. According to the announcement made of West Bengal CM, all the WB State families will get the benefit of this scheme. The State govt will cover 100% of Swasthya Sathi Cashless Health Yojana. The advantages of this Yojana will be given through smart card. And to All govt as well as private hospitals this smart card will be eligible.

Eligibility Criteria

In order to apply for this Scheme, There are some necessary eligibility criteria that the person should meet with: –

Only the Permanent resident of West Bengal state can apply under this scheme.
Only the women candidates in the family will be provided the Smart card.
Must not be registered under any other govt health care Yojana.

Features of Swasthya Sathi Scheme

Under this scheme, The Health cover of five lakh rupees per annum each family will be provided.
There will be cashless, paperless, and smart card-based Treatment.
The pre-existing diseases will also be covered.
The parents from both the spouses are involved under this Swasthya Sathi Scheme.
