This Training will be chargeless and the state government will endure its whole cost. Vishwakarma Shram Samman Yojana has been released by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The motive of Vishwakarma Shram Samman scheme is to elevate the quality of livelihood of urban and rural traditional artisans of the Uttar Pradesh State and to encourage self employment.

The Vishwakarma Shram Samman Yojana is launched by the Uttar Pradesh State government. this scheme is started for the artisans and craftsmen of the UP State who are linked with small scale industries or traditional industries. Such as Tailors, Cobblers, Barbers, Basket Weavers, Carpenters, Potters, Goldsmiths, Blacksmiths, Handicraftsmen and Masons etc.
The government has determined to arrange a six day training workshop with the purpose of encouraging and improving these types of small scale industries so that the Uttar Pradesh state will also move towards progress. This workshop will be completely chargeless and the government will endure all its cost. Together with, toolkits associated to their work will also be offered to all artisans and craftsmen. The benefit of this will be that the ancient technology will be modernize which will expand the capability and manufacturing.
Moreover, the UP government will also give monetary support to artisans and craftsmen to establish minor industries, under this scheme. The assistance amount has been settled from 10,000 to 10,00,000. This assistance will be directly be deposited into the artisans bank account. This scheme will not only expedite the income of poor entrepreneurs, but will also guide to the evolution of the state due to the improvement in small industries. Uttar Pradesh Vishwakarma Shram Samman scheme is hoped to give job to more than fifteen thousand people.

Eligibility Criteria
- Only the permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh State can take the advantage of this UP Vishwakarma Shram Samman Yojana.
- The age must be 18 or above 18 years.
