The Ladli Behna Yojana has been released by the Madhya Pradesh Government in February 2023. The scheme has been initiated to empower the lives of women and girls of the State. Under this scheme, The Chief Minister of the State has the aim to help poor women and girls of the MP State so that they can become economically independent. On this scheme, the Government will spend around 60,000 crore rupees in the next five years.
The Ladli Behna Scheme is very much similar to the Ladli Laxmi Scheme. The Madhya Pradesh state Government has announced the Rs. 1000 rupees monthly assistance to be provided to the beneficiaries of this scheme. So, the beneficiaries will be able to acquire about Rs. 12000 every year. This will be very helpful for the girls and women of the state. Objective
The Chief Motive of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan behind releasing this Ladli Behna Yojana is to make all the girls of the state empowered and self reliant, so that they will not remain dependent on any other person. The Beneficiaries will be provided assistance of Rs. 12000 every year and Rs. 1,000 every month under this scheme. The girls can use this amount to take care of their necessary expenses.
Ladli Behna Yojana Date
The form filling process of the Ladli Behna Yojana has yet not started but the date of the scheme has been released. On the 8th March, The application process will start. And from the month of June the beneficiaries of the scheme will get the benefit amount credited into their bank account.
Benefits of Ladli Behna Yojana
- The total amount of the Scheme is of 60,000 crores. Under the period of Five years, this amount will be distributed among the beneficiaries.
- Women of the Madhya Pradesh state who belongs to the lower class or poor background they will be provided the financial assistance.

- The girls who are from ST Category, SC category, backward class are eligible for this scheme.
