New Update
For the micro, small and medium entrepreneurs of our country, an announcement has been made by the finance minister of our country Mrs. Nirmala Sitharaman Ji. What is MSME?
MSME Full Form is Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises. There are three parts in which MSME has been divided by its Ministry.
- Micro enterprise: – the enterprises in which the investment in plant and machinery is Rs. 1 crore or less than 1 crore and turnover is Rs. 5 crore or less.
- Small enterprise: – small enterprise in which the investment in plant and machinery is Rs. 10 crore or less than 10 crore and turnover is RS. 50 crore or less.
- Medium enterprise: – the enterprises in which investment in plant and machinery is Rs. 50 crore or less than that and turnover is Rs. 250 crore or less than that.
Industry Base New Application
The central government has made an Udyam Registration Portal under the Udhyog Aadhaar so that it become easy to apply for the encouragement of industries. Through this portal any medium, small or micro entrepreneur can do the registration of their business.
On this Udyam Portal, people do not have to upload any type of documents, photos or certificates for the online registration of their business. They can just provide their Aadhaar number and self-declaration form and do their registration easily.
Only the people who are yet not registered as MSME and for those who already have registered as EM-II or UAM will be able to make their registration on the Udyam Portal.
New Rules for Registration
- A new criteria has been launched by the central government on 26th June for the Online Registration. From the 1st July 2020, for enterprise registration there is no need to upload certificates and documetns.
- Only with the Aadhaar number and self-declaration, the new enterprise registration is available. The enterprise registration process has been united by the government with the system of Income Tax and GST.
- The details about enterprise that entered by you, can be verified against the GSTIN or PAN number details.
- Government also said this that the MSME will be known as Udyam after the 1st July.
- The entrepreneurs will be able to do the registration with the online mode through the official website. the enterprises who have registered under the UAM or EM-Part-II they have to make registration again on the Udyam Registration Portal on or after the 1st July 2020.
- The enterprises who have registered before the 30th June, 2020, their registration will be valid till 31st March 2021.
Udyog Aadhaar MSME Online Registration Process
- Visit to the official website of MSME of the ministry of Micro, medium and small enterprises.
- On the homepage, you will see the “Registration Here” option and below this you will see “For new Entrepreneurs who are not registered yet as MSME or those with EM-II” option.
- You need to click on that option.
- Then, in the next page, do scroll down and provide your entrepreneur’s name and Aadhaar number.
- Then, tick on checkbox and then click on the option called Validate and Generate OTP.
- After this, you will receive an OTP on your mobile number.
