Under this Rashtriya Vayoshri Scheme, A social Empowerment camp was organized by the Union Minister of the State for social justice and empowerment In Bharatpur district. with the help of this camp, the Senior Citizens and Divyangjan citizens of the state will be provided the Assistive devices. Department of Empowerment of persons with disabilities in association has organized this camp in association with Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India and District Administration Bharatpur. About 1741 people have been identified to distribute the assistive devices via this camp. And form this 1155 were Divyang and 586 were senior citizens. With the help of this camp, the help of Rs. 304 lakhs will be provided to the beneficiaries of this scheme.
The Rashtriya Vayoshri Yojana has been launched by the Government with the purpose of making the beneficiaries empowered and Self Sufficient. For the welfare of Senior Citizens and Divyangjan, ministry is continuously working. The equipment that are given via this camp includes 110 motorized tricycle, walking sticks, Wheelchairs, Rollators, Smart Cane, Smart Phone, Braille Kit, C.P Chair, Braille Cane, Hearing Aid, MSIED Kit, Artificial Limbs, ADL Kit, Stool with Commode, Wheelchairs with Commode, Spinal Support, Knee Brace, LS Belts, Foot Care Unit, Spectacles and Dentures, Tetrapod, Silicon Cushion, Walker were included.

Objective
All those people, who are poor and are living below the poverty line will be provided with life aids by the central government such as Wheelchairs and many other equipment and this will be provided for free of cost.
Free devices will be provided to the needful old citizens who are poor. the old citizens will be provided the devices as per their disability and weakness. If a person have multiple disabilities then he will be provided multiple equipment, separate for each infirmity.
As per the 2011 census, the senior citizens population is 10.38 crore in India. and more than 70% old people are living in the rural areas of the country. There are lot of them who are suffering form disabilities which are caused by their old age.
