Rajasthan Palanhar Yojana
The Rajasthan Palanhar Yojana has been stated on the 18th Feb 2005. Under this yojana the beneficiary will be provided Rs. 1500 per month. The monthly assistance will be provided to the orphans, poor and dependent children for their education and upbringing. Currently, The CM Ashok Gehlot has increased the amount provided under this yojana. Initially the children of 6 years of age are being provided Rs. 500 but now they will be provided Rs. 750 per month. And all those children who are 6 to 18 years of age will be given 1500 rupees which are Rs. 1000 initially. Form the 1st July 2023, this increase in the amount will be made.

Benefits Rajasthan Palanhar Yojana
- For children from 0 to 6 years of age Rs 750 every month (it is necessary to visit to anganwadi)
- For children from 6 to 18 yeas of age Rs 1500 every month (mandatory to attend school)
- For sweaters, clothes, shoes etc the 200 rupees annual additional round sum due (excluding the category of kin and widow)
Eligibility Criteria
In order to apply for the Rajasthan Palanhar Yojana a person need to meet the Eligibility Criteria for this yojana: –
- The annual income of the candidate’s family must not be more than 1.20 lakh rupees.
- Orphan Children are eligible for this yojana.
- The parents who have been sentenced to the imprisonment/death for life by judicial process, their children are eligible for this yojana.
- For the destitute pension, maximum three children of a widowed mother are eligible.
- Maximum three children of a related mother.
- The child of that mother who is remarried widowed.
- All those children whose parents are suffering from AIDS.
- Those children whose parents are suffering from the leprosy.
- Disabled parents children.
- Divorced Abandoned Women children.

- Guardian’s Income Certificate,
- Foster Care Certificate,
- Bhamashah Card or Jan Aadhar Card,
- Child Aadhar Card,
- Death certificate of the parents of Orphaned Children,
- Child Registration at the Anganwadi Center/certificate of studying in the school.
- Imprisonment for parents life – copy of the sentence.
- Destitute widow parents, death certificate.
- Remarried Mother’s Children – Certificate of Remarriage of mother.
- The children of the parents who are affected with AIDS – Certificate of registration in Rajasthan AIDS Control Society.
- Disabled Parent’s Children – Disability certificate from a competent medical board.
- For the leprosy affected parents – certificate provided by the competent medical board to the concerned parents.
- Divorced Women Children – divorce documents of the divorced women will have to be provided, also a self-sworn certificate and a certificate provided by a religious authority based on two independent witnesses.
- Children of Abandoned Women – if they have been living individually from their husbands for three years or more, then they will have to provide certificate for that.
