On 25th June 2022, Moovalur Ramamirtham Scheme was introduced by the Finance minister of the Tamil Nadu state Mr. Palanivel Thiaga Rajan.
Under this scheme, the Tamil Nadu state government will provide monthly Financial Assistance of Rs. 1000 to the students to complete their education from elementary school till their graduation. The girls who are enrolled from 6th class to 12th class in government school can avail the benefit of this scheme by registering themselves under this scheme by visit to its official website.

Objectives
The main motive of releasing this scheme is to increase the number of females to be enrolled in the higher education and motivate them towards higher studies. Under Moovalur Ramamirtham Ammaiyar scheme the girls’ students will be provided the financial incentive of Rs 1000. This amount will be directly credited to the girl’s bank account.
Eligibility Criteria
- Under this scheme, only the girl’s applicant can do their registration.
- The girl applicant who are studying in 6th to 12th class and are going to start their graduation can do their registration under this scheme and take the benefit of Rs. 1000 financial incentive (per month).
- Applicant need to submit their application form before the last date of submission.
- The girls who are studying in the private schools will not be able to take the benefit of this scheme.
