The Uttar Pradesh State has Launched this Jhatpat Connection Yojana. Under this Scheme, the Citizens of the state who belong to the Below Poverty Line and APL Category will be provided Instant Electricity Connection by the Government. in the houses of eligible people of this scheme, the Electricity Connection meters will be installed of the state government.

Jhatpat Bijli Connection Yojana

All those people of the Uttar Pradesh State who belongs to the Poor families will be provided the electricity connection in their houses. When the people will apply under this scheme, the people who belongs to the Below poverty line have to do the payment of a fee of Rs. 10 and the people who belongs to the Above Poverty line category have to do the payment of Rs. 100 in order to acquire one to twenty five KW Electricity Connection. Once you will be done applying for the Electricity Connection then within 10 days, the electricity connection will be installed in your house.

The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh state Mr. Yogi Adityanath has initiated this Jhatpat Bijli Connection scheme for the people of the UP State who belongs to the BPL and APL Category of the state. Till now the government have provided 23 lakh electricity connections under this Yojana. There are a certain amount of fee that the person need to pay to make their online registration under this scheme and that is, for BPL Category people it is Rs 10 and for APL Category people it is Rs. 100 fee to get electricity connection. Applicants don’t have to visit to the Department of electricity to acquire electricity connection. This process will be via online.

There are so many families in the UP State who belong to BPL and APL Category. For these families it becomes very hard to get electricity connection in their houses because they don’t have enough money to get basic needs of the living and also they needed to visit to the electricity department to get the connection which takes lots of time and efforts and it take so much time to get electricity connection installed in their houses. But now the UP State government have started this Jhatpat connection yojana to solve the problems of these families in the state. All those people who belongs to poor families in the UP State can take the advantage of this scheme.
Under this Jhatpat Connection Yojana, people will be able to apply for one to forty nine KW Electricity supply by doing the payment of Rs. 100 fee (for APL Category People) and Rs. 10 for (BPL Category People).
Uttar Pradesh state government has started this great initiative, it will surely help in restraining the harassment in the consumers offices.
