For Urja Muni Yojana Gujarat, the government has earmarked a budget of Over Rs. 2,000 crore. The power consumption will reduce with the use of Solar Energy and the Power Generation will increase. The state govt will provide subsidy of 40% on solar panels with 2 kw capacity and 25% on the cost of solar panels with three to 10 kw capacity to the person installing solar panels.
