Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, has initiated this Thiranari Thervu Thittam Scheme to train government school students who are from the Rural Areas. The program was launched at a meeting carried at IIT-Madras. IIT-Madras will help one lakh students per annum via this program who are passionately attentive in the area of electronics and wish to carry on with their education in it.
The Lectures and Training will be provided by the IIT-Madras via this Scheme to also those students who are in Class 9th to 12th from the Rural Government Schools. To remain these students busy, they would be given a Rs. 1,000 monthly payment.
