Paramparagat Krishi Vikas Yojana
The government has launched this Paramparagat Krishi Vikas Yojana for the farmers of our country. The farmers will be provided financial assistance under this yojana for doing organic farming. Under this Soil Health scheme, The Paramparagat Krishi Vikas Yojana has been initiated by the government. Via this yojana, the farmers will be motivated to do organic farming and the government will give financial assistance to them for organic farming. With the help of this yojana, the acceptable model of organic farming will be evolved via traditional knowledge and modern science.
In the 2015-16 year this scheme was launched to provided chemical free organic farming in cluster mode. The purpose of releasing this Paramparagat Krishi Vikas Yojana is to raise soil Fertility. Vis this yojana, the financial assistance is given to the farmers for the cluster formation, incentives for inputs, capacity building, value addition and marketing.

- With the help of this yojana, the financial assistance will be given for cluster formation, Incentives for inputs, capacity building, value addition and marketing.

Features
- The cluster elected for organic farming must be within the range of twenty hectares or fifty acres and as adjacent as possible.
- The total financial assistance accessible for a twenty hectare or fifty acre cluster will be subject to a max of 10 lakh rupees.
- Minimum sixty five percent of the total number of farmers in a cluster will be allocated to the small category and marginal category of farmers.
- Under this yojana, it is required to set separate minimum thirty percent of the budget allotment for women beneficiaries / farmers.

Paramparagat Krishi Vikas Yojana Implementation
National Level Implementation: –
- The Pradhan Mantri Krishi Vikas Yojana will be implemented Via the Organic Farming cell of Integrated Nutrient Management. Beside this, the guidelines of this yojana will be made via the Joint Director of the National Advisory committee. The execution of the yojana at the national level will also be done via the department of Agriculture, cooperative and farmers welfare.
State Level Implementation: –
- The Yojana will be execution at the State level by the state agriculture and cooperation department. The yojana will be execute by the Department will the involvement of the registered zonal councils.
District Level Implementation: –
- The district level implementation of this yojana will be done via the regional council. A district may also have one or more regional councils which shall be enrolled under societies Act, Public Trust Act, Cooperative Act or Companies Act.
Annual Action Plan
- Under this Paramparagat Krishi Vikas Yojana, the PGS Certification and quality control is a three year program, for this the regional council will have to submit its action plan.
- The action plan must be submitted to the state department of agriculture.
- After the action plan approval the financial assistance will be provided to the states.
- Once the financial assistance will be received, the regional council will be provided financial assistance to the farmers and local groups.
- The regional Council in March will submit the Annual Action Plan.
- The approval of the action plan will be provided by the central govt by May and the financial assistance will be provided in the middle of May to the regional council.
