NMMS Scholarship Apply Online

The National Scholarship is started by the central government of India for the students who need financial help for their studies due to the poor financial condition. Under this Scholarship, Around Rs. 12000 will be given per year to the students who belong to the economically weaker sections by the National Scholarship initiated by central government. Under this scholarship around one lakh scholarship will be provided.

For the National Scholarship which is made for the students who belongs to weaker economical background, The Department of School Education and Literacy under The ministry of Human Resource Development will be the organization authority.

Objective

The Chief Motive Behind Releasing this scholarship initiated by Central Government is to encourage students who are unable to acquire better education due to their poor financial conditions. With the help of this scholarship, the students will not remain dependent on their family member for their fees. All those students who are studying in the Secondary and higher secondary level of education will get the help of this scholarship scheme. More people become educated and there will be less dropouts form the school after their 8^th standard. Students just need to take the selection test to get the benefit of this scholarship and this test will be conducted at the state level.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate must be currently studying in 9^th class.
Candidates must have passed the previous 8^th class.
Applicant must have scored minimum 55% in their 8^th class examination.
Candidate must be taking education from govt or a government aided school in India.
If person want to renew their scholarship for further year then he must get minimum 60% marks in their 10^th board exam.
In order to acquire the scholarship in 12^th class, 55% marks is necessary in the 11^th class examination.
5% relaxation will be provided to the SC and ST Category students.
Yearly income of the family must not exceed 1.5 lakh rupees.
Students studying in private schools will not be eligible to get scholarship.

Incentive

The monthly financial Assistance will be provided to the students through this Scholarship.
Around one lakh scholarships will be given under this scholarship.
Per month Rs. 1000 will be given to the beneficiary as financial assistance.
By the state bank of india, the scholarship amount will be provided to the beneficiary.
On the basis of total students that have been enrolled in the 7^th and 8^th standard according to their population the number of scholarships will be allotted to each UT and State.
Rs. 12000 per annum will be provided to the students of Class 9^th
Every year, the scholarship can be renewed till the students will finish their 12^th class.
In order to acquire the scholarship, passing in every class is necessary for the student.

Selection Criteria

In order to examine the critical thinking and reasoning abilities of the student, the Mental Ability Test will be held.
There will be 90 MCQ in the test.
Questions will be related to Numerical Series, Analogy, Classification, Pattern Perception, Hidden figures etc.
Scholastic Aptitude test will be conducted.
The SAT Covers the syllabus of Social Studies, Mathematics, Science according to the 7^th and 8^th classes syllabus.
The minimum 40% marks is necessary to acquire the scholarship.
For the socially backward category students, 32% minimum score is necessary.
55% marks is necessary in the 8^th class final examination.
Students of SC / ST Category will be provided the relaxation of 5% marks.
