Manav Kalyan Yojana Application Status
On the 11th Sep 1995, the Manav Kalyan Yojana was announced by the Gujarat Government for Poor community and backward people. In the year 2022, this scheme was declared in the advanced form. Under this scheme, Laborers, Backward Caste Artisans, Small Vendors etc who are earning up to Rs. 15,000 in urban areas and up to Rs. 12,000 in rural areas will be provided the benefits.

Objective
The chief objective of releasing this Manav Kalyan Yojana by the Gujarat Government in association with the ministry of Tribal Affairs is to provide tools and equipment for the economic growth and development of the poor community and backward caste. This will help in providing them employment opportunities. Lots of people who are artisans, who do small business are not able to purchase the required equipment and tools due to the financial constraints. And they are not able to make progress. But now the Gujarat state government has come up with this Manav Kalyan Yojana to solve this problem. The Manav Kalyan Yojana will provide loans on cheap interest and will provide new equipment and tools which will open the way for their progress in life.
Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must be a Gujarat state native in order to get the benefits of Manav Kalyan Yojana.
- The applicant age must be between 16 to 60 years.
- The beneficiary name must be in the BPL List of Rural Development Department to get the advantage of this scheme.
- For Scheduled castes people, there is no annual income limit.
