The Maharashtra State government has started the Maharashtra Vidhwa Pension Yojana to provide financial assistance to the Widowed Women of the financially poor families. Maharashtra Vidhwa Pension Yojana
Under this yojana, if a women have more than one child in a family then they will be provided the pension amount of Rs. 900 every month by the Maharashtra State Government. Until the children will turn 25 years old or do not get job, this pension will be given to the beneficiary. If the children is a girl then the benefit will be provided till she turn 25 years or till she gets married.

Objective
The Maharashtra Pension Scheme has been started by the Rajya Sarkar to provide the financial benefit to the Widow women of the Maharashtra State. Under this yojana, the poor destitute widow women of the Maharashtra state will be provided Rs. 600 each month. With the help of this yojana, the women of the Maharashtra State will become financial independent and self-reliant.
Eligibility Criteria
- Only the Maharashtra Ste Permanent Resident can apply under this yojana.
- Family annual must not exceed 21,000 rupees.
- Applicant must have bank account linked with the aadhar card.
- People of below poverty line can apply.
- The applicant age must be less than 65 years.
