Kusum Mahaurja Registration
There will be three types of capacity irrigation pumps (7.5, 5, and 3 HP), which farmers can get under this scheme. All those farmers who do not have electricity connections in their agricultural land they can do their Online Apply for this scheme. The applicants of SC and Tribespeople will get 95% of subsidy for these pumps and 90% subsidy for the other categories people. The MEDA stands for Maharashtra Energy Development Agency has provided all the farmers a chance to set up their solar pump for their farming requirements. Objective
The main purpose of releasing Kusum Solar Pump Scheme by the Maharashtra State Government is to promote the usage of solar power in the Maharashtra state. For the irrigation purpose, under this scheme, the eligible famers of the state will be provided the Solar Pumps at 95% subsidy rates. The government will provide 25,000 solar pumps in the first phase of this scheme and 50,000 solar pumps in the second phase of this scheme.

- The farmers have to paid 5% and 10% of the total amount of the irrigation pumps as per their category and the other remaining amount will be paid by the government.
- This yojana will be helpful in making Maharashtra state pollution free.
- The diesel pumps are becoming the cause of pollution and with the help of this the pollution can be reduced.
- The poor farmers are also not able to do their payment of their high electricity bills. So by using the solar pumps they will get some relief from high electricity bills.
- The farmers has already been given 25,000+ solar pumps till now by the Maharashtra state government. And in the second phase this distribution will be doubled.
- All the farmers who are near rivers wells or bore wells they all can get the benefit of this scheme. And farmers who do not have electricity connections can get the benefit of this scheme.
- Farmers can apply for 3 HP Solar pumps only if they have 2.5 acres of agricultural land.
- Farmers who have 5 acres land they are eligible to apply for 5 HP Capacity solar pump.
- For the 7.5 HP Capacity solar pump, the farmers who have 5 acres+ land can apply.

- If your name is not on the safe list, then you can apply by using a diesel pump.
- Read reference for full payment within 7 days after finalization of application.
- If the application is refused, the money will be redirect to the bank.

- For the Kusum Yojana, only the Maharashtra State farmers can apply.
- If the electricity connections is already available in the fields of farmers then they can not apply for this scheme.
- The farmers who will use these pumps for irrigation of their crops can apply for this scheme.
- The farmers must have all the necessary documents and bank account on their name.

- After this provide your email id or user id and password.
- You will see the Kusum Solar Pump Yojana link.

- Then, just fill the online form with your address and other details.
- Provide you mobile number and then you will receive an OTP on your provided number.
