The Chief Minister of West Bengal State has launched this Karma Sathi Scheme in the state. This yojana has been released with the aim of providing job opportunities to the young youth of the state. Under this yojana the beneficiary will be provided the loans of up to two lakh rupees by the state government. The West Bengal State Government has started this West Bengal Karma Sathi Prakalpa yojana to provide job opportunities to the citizens of the state. The Chief Minister of West Bengal State Mamata Banerjee Ji has launched this yojana in 2020 in a press conference by the Finance Minister Mr. Amit Mitra. The young youth who are not able to acquire the job opportunities will get incentive with the help of this yojana.

- The Karma Sathi Prakalpa Scheme has been launched by the WB Government with the aim of facilitating young entrepreneurs of the WB State in setting up new manufacturing enterprises and small businesses including trading and services.

Eligibility Criteria
- Only the West Bengal State Resident will be able to apply under this yojana.
- The applicant must have passed 10th and 12th class from recognized board.

- The government will provide the interest subsidy to the beneficiary up to the period of 3 years.
- The beneficiary will be provided the interest subsidy for three years only by the government if the loan is to be repaid by the beneficiary in the more than 3 years.
- For regular repayment, The govt will refund fifty percent of the interest paid by the beneficiary in three years, into the beneficiary bank account as interest subsidy.
- For all other cases, the govt will refund forty percent of the interest paid by the beneficiary in three years, into the beneficiary bank account as interest subsidy.
- Only the aspiring entrepreneurs who are enrolled with the employment bank will be given the preference.
