This Yojana has been initiated by the Rajasthan Prakash. The meritorious girl students are distributed scooty under this yojana. All those girls who belongs to the ST, SC, Minority category can acquire the advantage of this yojana. Via this yojana, more than 10,000 girls will be able to acquire the benefit every year.

Beside this, For each district, number of scooties has been fixed under this yojana. Under this yojana, the number of scooties has been fixed as per the different percentage in commerce, science and arts. This yojana has been initiated to motivate the girls and their parents to give education. Under this yojana, girls who are studying in the government schools and private schools and have good marks in their 12^th standard are eligible to apply.

Overview of the Kalibai Bheel Medhavi Chatra Scooty Scheme

Under this Yojana, the selection process has been done according to the merit. There is a provision to provide cash amount of Rs. 40,000 rather than of scooty to motivate the economically poor girl students to acquire education. From these 600 girls students, 40% of science, 55% of arts and 5% of commerce students will be provided the scooties. All the girl students who have 65% marks in Rajasthan Board’s 12^th examination and 75% marks in CBSE Board’s 12^th examination are eligible to apply under this yojana. 75% girl students of govt schools and 25% girl students of private schools will be provided the scooty.

Scheme Explanation

• In place of Scooty, the differently-abled girl students will be provided the motorized tricycle.
• The TSP area students who are studying in the non TSP Area they can apply either Non TSP or TSP Category.
• In the priority list, if any divyand students does not appear as per the eligibility, then they will be selected up to the Number of dependent scooty for their category.
• The disabled students who is accommodated in general preference, will be considered as a beneficiary for a scooty reserved for a disabled student.
• If a girl students get prescribed percentage and not found in private schools then the girls students will be provided the scooties of government schools.
• If in the central board of secondary education, there are no eligible girl students, then the girl students of the board of secondary education Rajasthan will be benefited.

Objective

The purpose of this Yojana is to encourage the girls of the State to acquire higher education. For this scooty will be given by the govt. Via this yojana, financial assistance of Rs. 40,000 will also be given to the financially weak girl students in place of scooty. So that they can acquire education. Via this yojana, a those students who were unable to acquire the education because of some reasons they can get the chance of getting education. This will also be help for the women empowerment.

Via the Kalibai Bhil Medhavi Chhatra Yojana, the unemployment rate of the Sate will decrease. Due to the more and more girl students will get the education and along with education they will get employment. So the girl students will not become dependent on any other person to go away from their home to study and girls will become more confident and self reliant.

Eligibility

• The person must be a permanent resident of the Rajasthan State.
• Only ST/SC/OBC/ economically weak girl students of General Category and other minority group, will be able to acquire the benefit of this yojana.
• The girl student who already acquire the advantage of any other scooty scheme, she cannot acquire the advantage of this scheme. If the girl child has earlier acquire the scooty from the TAD Department or the school department on the basis of marks get in 10^th class, then she will be eligible to acquire the cash account of Rs. 40,000 on the marks of 12^th Class.
• The applicant’s parents annual income must be Rs. 2.5 lakh or less than that.
• The applicant’s parents must not be tax payers.
• Minimum 65% marks are necessary for the girl students getting education in the Rajasthan Board and minimum 75% marks for the girl students acquiring education in CBSE Board.
• It is necessary for the beneficiary to take admission in the graduation program after clearing 12^th standard.
• The students will not be provided the benefit of this yojana, if there is a gap between passing class XII and Taking admission in graduation.

Kalibai Bheel Medhavi Chatra Scooty Yojana Implementation

• The commissioner College Education Department will be the nodal department of this yojana.
• Through the portal, this yojana will be implemented completely.

Small Numbers Distribution Ratio

• The girl students of Private schools will be distributed 50% scooties and the government schools of board of secondary education girls students will be distributed 25% scooties. Besides this, 25% scooties will be distributed to the girl students of private and govt schools of the central board of secondary education.
• From the total number of scooties, five percent scooties will be distributed in the commerce stream, fourty percent in Science Stream, fifty five percent in arts stream. Besides this, total 7 scooties will be distributed at the divisional level, to the senior Upadhyay Class.
• The number of scooty distribution can be decreased or increased according to the need.
• The beneficiary can not claim the scooty via the court.
• The selection under this yojana will be made according to the district wise preference.
