Three days in January and two days in February 2024 are been aside for the Gunotsav 2024 fifth round. The Gunotsav organization will be divided into three stages and cover 31 districts. The mission director of Samagra Shiksha Assam (SSA) issued the Gunotsav 2024 schedule. According to the schedule, the first phase will cover eleven districts: Barpeta, Karimganj, Kamrup, Karbi Anglong, Kokrajhar, Lakhimpur, Nagaon, Sibsagar, South Salmara-Mancachar, and Udalguri. January 4, 5, and 6 of 2024 will be the dates of the external evaluation, while January 3, 2024 will be the date of the self-evaluation for the first Gunotsav phase.
Assam Gunotsav 2024
The previous year saw the Assam government launch several projects aimed at ensuring that all students in the state received high-quality education, but Gunotsav acquired a lot of popularity. The purpose of this effort was to evaluate the knowledge of students from every school in every district in Assam in order to improve the educational system.
Better learning outcomes and the promotion of student learning would be achieved by the Assam Gunotsav 2024 through timely, consistent feedback and assistance. Between January 3, 2024, and February 9, 2024, this widely supported initiative will be implemented in three phases, with specific districts being included in each phase.

Guidelines
The following are the crucial guidelines:
- Two distinct types of assessments, namely the Self-evaluation 1 and the External evaluation 2, will be conducted.
- Academic work will account for 90% of marks, co-curricular activities for 5%, and community service for 5%.
- 42,76,881 pupils in Classes I through VIII are included in the coverage.
- The Gunotsav 2024 Question Paper is intended to help analyze educational strengths, pinpoint areas of knowledge deficiency, and improve education.
Objectives
The following are some of the Gunotsav 2024’s main goals:
- To ensure improved academic performance and a first-rate primary education
- Ministers, IAS, IPS, IFS, and Class I and II officers will visit schools and take part in the evaluation process in order to motivate pupils.
- To instill in all pupils and educational institutions a significant value on a top-notch education
- To address the learning gaps among students
- To reduce the frequency of errors, misinterpretations, and strong and weak competences in children
