AISSEE Sainik School Entrance Exam Application Form 2023
The Sainik school society under the authority of the Ministry of Defence, government of India, run the Sainik schools across the country. In the year 1961, these schools were set up to provide the good education to boys who belonged to poor background and trained them National Naval Academy.
In India, currently there are 33 Sainik schools which are affiliated with CBSE. To take the admission in these Schools students need to clear entrance exam

Sainik School Admission 2023 Eligibility
- Boys can take admission in Sainik schools and girls can take admission in Sainik School, Chhingchhip.
Age criteria: –
- For 6th Class Boys/Girls: – 10 years to 12 years (April 1st 2011 to 31st march 2013).
- For 9th Class Boys Only: – 13 years to 15 years (April 1st 2008 to 31st march 2010).
- As on 31st March, 2023.

Required Documents
- The candidates who belongs to the SC/ST category they have to provide the photocopy of the caste certificate.
- Birth certificate Proof,
- Domicile Certificate,
- Service certificate (Defence category serving) and PPO for Ex-Servicemen, if applicable.
- Left hand thumb impression of the applicant and that must be in JPG or JPEG format.
- Passport size photograph that must be scanned.
- Signature of the applicant.
Reservation Criteria of Sainik School
- SC: – 15%.
- ST: – 7.5%.
- OBC-NCL: – 27%.
- The 67% of the seats are reserved for the boys who are situated in the state in which the school is.
- And 33% seats are for the students who are from other states or UTs.
Sainik School Application Fee
- Rs. 500/- for the students belongs to SC/ST Category.
- Rs. 650/- for the students belongs to General/OBC/Defence Category.
- The mode of the fee payment will be online.
- The candidates have to make the online payment of their application fee within the 48hours of their registration. if they will not do their application fee payment within prescribed time then their form will be discarded. And then they have to fill new registration form.
