The Odisha Motor Vehicle Driver Welfare Scheme has been released by the Odisha Chief Minister Mr. Naveen Patnayak. On the 12th June 2023, this scheme has been announced. This yojana has been initiated for the Transport Employees of Odisha State. Under this yojana, the beneficiary families can be saved from the loss due to the Transport Time. Under this Scheme, the financial help will be given by the govt If the transport Workers of the Odisha State die in an Accident.
Odisha Motor Driver and Employees Welfare Scheme
The Odisha State Chief Minister Mr. Naveen Patnaik has released the Odisha Motor Driver and Employee Welfare Yojana for the transport employees of the Odisha State. This Scheme has been announced under the Compensation of Transport Minister Tukuni Sahu State Transport Commissioner Amitabh Thakur. If the state staff or transport worker suddenly dies in an accident, then compensation of up to five lakh rupees will be given by the Odisha Govt.
The Next of Kin of Staff Employees will be given Rs. 4,00,000 on the death of an employee. The person will be provided compensation amount of eighty thousand rupees, If any Staff or transport worker is found seriously short. And the compensation of 1.5 lakhs rupees will be provided to the employee who becomes permanently disabled after an accident. More than Five Lakh transport workers will be benefited under this scheme of the Odisha Govt. On the 12th June 2023, This yojana has been announced by the Chief Minister of Odisha.

- Death in a Road Accident: – Rs. 4 Lakh Provided by the Welfare Board.
- Severely Injured in a Road Accident: – Rs. 80,000 provided by the govt.
- In case of Disability: – Rs. 1.5 lakh provided by welfare board.
- In case of Death: – Rs. 2 lakh provided by Odisha Govt.
