Assistance Amount
The Assistance Amount under this yojana is Rs. 2,000 in rural areas and in urban areas it is Rs 3000. The state govt has released an online application for this online disbursement of Harischandra Sahayata Yojana assistance. The govt has also released a Mahaprayan Initiative to free people from the stress of carrying dead body of family members to the place of crematorium/burial. The govt has initiated various dead body carrying vehicles from CMRF resources to District hospital, medical college and hospitals.
Features
The Odisha State govt will give financial assistance of 14 crore rupees from CMRF. For this, 10 crore rupees will be from CMRF Fund and remaining from collectors. In the last two years, the govt has given assistance of thirty two crore rupees to the expired and destitute families of the expired. Under the Mahapragya Hriday Sewa, the govt have given 39 vehicles for twenty nine districts with three vehicles for six medical colleges.
The funds will be given for the execution of the Harishchandra sahayata yojana, Mahaprayan Sewa and Aahar programs via the CM relief Fund.
