New Aasara Pension
The finance minister of Telangana has announced the Rs. 11728 crore allocation to the Aasara pension scheme during the annual budget session. The Telangana state government has increased the pension given to widows, elderly, handloom sector workers, aids patients, and toddy tappers. Initially the pension was Rs. 200 and now the pension is raised to Rs. 2016. And the Telangana state has also increased the pension for differently abled people from Rs. 500 to 3016 per month. The Rs. 2016 per month pension, will be provided to the single women, filarial patients, beedi workers.
